Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to provide general electrical and mechanical maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning and heating plant across multiple properties. You will perform planned maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, AHU and BMS, and carry out reactive repairs as needed.

The role requires electrical qualification or competence, refrigerant handling certification and knowledge of permit-to-work systems.

Qualifications

• Solid background within a similar role.
• Refrigeration qualifications NVQ/C&G Certificate.
• Electrically qualified or competent.
• Data Centre experience would be helpful but not prerequisite.
• Refrigerant handling certification.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work System.
• Undertaken relevant Health & Safety Training (or willing to undertake).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on HVAC plant, chillers and AHU equipment.
• Perform reactive repairs on on-site plant and equipment.
• Work in a safe, tidy, and responsible manner following Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure spares are used cost-effectively and maintain documentation.
• Be available for on-call duty as part of a team rota if required.
• Complete site work order documentation to required standards.
