Job summary

Sapphire Utility Solutions, part of The Lanes Group, is recruiting for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager based in Leyland, Lancashire. The role reports to the HSEQ Director and supports operations to improve safety, environmental performance and quality across the contract.

The successful candidate will monitor performance, conduct audits, lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement within the HSEQ Management System.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years in a HSEQ Management role.
• Capital Projects experience is essential.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is essential.
• Knowledge of QMS 9001/14001/45001 is desirable.
• Professional membership (IOSH/IEMA/CQI) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSEQ guidance to operations and management.
• Monitor safety and environmental performance and trends.
• Audit and improve HSQE processes and documentation.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver training on HSEQ topics to staff.
