Job summary

Sirius Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead and manage Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards across the business. The role focuses on compliance with legislation, industry standards and company procedures, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.

The successful candidate will oversee audits, risk assessments and training, and will liaise with customers, suppliers and regulators to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a QHSE management role in metal manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and environmental legislation.
• Experience with audits, risk assessments, investigations and corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QHSE systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental laws.
• Lead internal audits, inspections, risk assessments, and CAPAs.
• Monitor and improve quality across manufacturing processes.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and complaints.
• Deliver QHSE training and promote safety culture.
• Manage environmental requirements and waste management.
• Maintain documentation and compliance reports.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulators.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve quality.
• Lead the quality department including engineers and inspectors.
