Job summary

VANRATH is recruiting an HR Manager for our Derry office. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation, while driving employee relations and policy development to ensure legal compliance and a high‑performing culture.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and integrity, with CIPD Level 5+ desirable. You will work with leadership to foster staff development and organisational success in a dynamic SME environment.

Qualifications

• Proven senior HR advisory experience in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and influencing skills.
• Strong knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and resource planning.
• Oversee onboarding and staff documentation compliance.
• Manage employee relations (discipline, grievance, and absence issues).
• Develop and review HR policies for compliance and best practice.
• Support talent management and succession planning initiatives.
• Provide reports and HR metrics to senior management.
