Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
• CIPD Qualified.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience or in a similar role.
• Experience operating in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeps abreast of changes in the business and counsels client groups on potential impacts on the workplace and the workforce.
• acts as the primary HR consultant for management and employees within designated client groups.
• Advises on employee issues including counselling, performance management, personnel movement, and exit interviews.
• Standardizes HR processes and practices across delivery areas.
• Facilitates talent management processes to provide internal candidates for growth.
• Coordinates with compensation, recruiting, global mobility and payroll to support personnel needs.
• Supports workforce planning, staffing and recruitment efforts.
• Maintains HRIS records and compliance with employment regulations.
• Establishes HR visibility and a positive employee-relations environment.
• Resools and/or brokers HR resources for issue resolution.
• Assists management with counselling, coaching, terminations, and investigations.
• Travels to offshore units as needed.
• Participates in HR On-Call Support.
