Job summary

Laing O\'Rourke is seeking a People Partner to support the Sizewell C project in Ipswich, with travel to London. You will partner with leaders to deliver HR initiatives, guide workforce planning and help create an inclusive workplace on a nationally significant programme.

You will influence decisions, support organisational growth and strive to provide a positive employee experience across a large, evolving project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR role within a fast-paced or complex organisation.
• Strong relationship-building skills with managers and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of HR policies, processes and employment legislation.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering or project-based environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR support and guidance across a broad range of people activities.
• Work closely with managers to deliver people initiatives and support organisational growth.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning for the Sizewell C project.
• Contribute to organisational change, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Use people data and insight to identify trends and support decision making.
