Marchant Recruitment is assisting a Leeds-based school to appoint an experienced HR Manager who will oversee HR operations and provide guidance to managers and staff. You’ll manage recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks while ensuring consistent, professional handling of employee relations and staff development.

The role requires strong knowledge of employment law, excellent organisation and communication skills, and the confidence to advise managers on sensitive issues.

Formación

• Experience in HR management within education is required or beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
• Advise on employee relations, absence and performance management.
• Support disciplinary, grievance and capability procedures.
• Maintain HR policies, personnel records and reporting.
• Coordinate appraisals and staff training.
• Support workforce planning and HR compliance.
