Marchant Recruitment is seeking a confident HR Manager to join a school in Liverpool and oversee a broad range of HR responsibilities. You will work with school leaders to manage staffing matters, support recruitment and ensure HR processes are applied consistently.

This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys practical solutions and guiding managers through employee issues, while ensuring safeguarding and employment law compliance.

Qualificações

• HR management or senior HR advisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Confidence handling sensitive information.
• Experience in education sector is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
• Advise on attendance, performance and employee relations.
• Support disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Maintain accurate staff records and HR policies.
• Coordinate appraisals, training and workforce planning.
• Ensure HR processes meet employment law and safeguarding requirements.
