The role covers day-to-day HR advice, employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding and policy implementation, with a focus on supporting managers and the workforce across the full employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Senior HR Advisor/HR Generalist with hands-on experience in an operational environment.
• Experience supporting managers with employee relations and policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers across the employee lifecycle.
• Support managers with employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance.
• Coach managers and helping them build confidence in dealing with people issues.
• Support the management of attendance, absence and employee wellbeing matters.
• Advise on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
• Support recruitment and selection activity, working closely with hiring managers and external suppliers where required.
• Assist with onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and supporting HR reporting and management information.
• Support reward and salary benchmarking activity.
• Contribute to manager training and development.
• Support the implementation and review of HR policies, processes and procedures.
• Getting involved in wider HR projects and initiatives where required.
• Build strong relationships with managers and employees and provide a responsive, practical HR service.
