Job summary

Glue Resourcing Limited is partnering with a CQC-regulated care organisation in Ipswich to recruit a Senior HR Advisor. The role provides expert HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle and acts as a senior contact for managers and staff.

You will work with the CEO and management to shape the people function, support complex employee relations, and oversee recruitment while ensuring compliance with employment law and GDPR. There is clear progression toward an HR Manager position.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification, or working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience in a CQC-regulated environment (health or social care).
• Significant HR advisory experience and coaching capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice on employment legislation and policies.
• Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary, grievances, absence, performance.
• Support investigations, hearings and meetings with fair processes.
• Oversee recruitment and safer recruitment practices.
• Support workforce planning, retention and engagement initiatives.
• Mentor HR team members and develop their skills.
• Monitor HR trends and regulatory developments for the CEO.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain confidential employee records.
• Support HR audits, inspections and quality improvements.
• Contribute to HR policy development and process improvements.
• Collaborate with CEO to develop leadership and people-management capability.
