Job summary

Glue Resourcing Limited is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor in Northampton for a hands-on generalist role supporting the HR Manager and wider team. You will contribute across the full employee lifecycle, delivering practical HR advice and ownership of key processes.

The role covers day-to-day HR support, ER cases, payroll coordination, onboarding and training coordination, with a focus on compliant, proactive HR delivery.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent practical HR experience.
• Experience providing HR advice to managers and employees.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and its application.
• Experience handling employee relations processes (absence, disciplinary, grievances, performance).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, resilient, able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building within the organisation.
• Commercial and solutions-focused HR mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
• Support employee relations cases including absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and wellbeing matters.
• Advise on policies, procedures and UK employment legislation.
• Coordinate payroll processes and respond to payroll queries with relevant teams.
• Maintain confidential HR records and documentation in compliance with requirements.
