Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior People Advisor to support UHB+ colleagues and the wider People Directorate HR team. You will manage a broad employee relations caseload and advise on workforce policies to ensure fair, practical outcomes across the Bank and Trust.

You will work closely with UHB+ leadership to strengthen governance, colleague experience and integration within the wider organisation.

Qualifications

• Essential CIPD Level 5 or equivalent degree level qualification with postgraduate HR study.
• Desirable CIPD Level 7 or related postgraduate qualification in HR management.
• Evidence of recent continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse employee relations caseload and advise on workforce policies.
• Support timely, fair outcomes on staffing, service delivery and colleague experience.
• Balance compassionate and objective decision-making while navigating complex cases.
• Collaborate with Trade unions and leadership to strengthen HR practice.
• Deliver practical solutions that support attraction, engagement and retention.
