Job summary

The Beauty Tech Group is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to support HR and office teams. You’ll advise managers and employees on complex employee relations matters, maintain HR case records, and guide the HR Assistant with day-to-day activities.

The role reports to the CFO/COO and requires strong knowledge of UK employment law. With responsibilities spanning HR operations, onboarding, and policy compliance, you’ll help ensure fair, consistent processes while supporting training, health

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role with knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience managing employee relations including grievances and absence.
• Ability to advise managers on sensitive matters and supervise junior staff.
• Nice to have CIPD qualification and experience with external employment-law advisers.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Lead on complex employee relations matters — grievances, disciplinaries, capability, performance and complex absence cases.
• Support investigations and prepare related documentation, letters and meeting materials, escalating high-risk cases to external advisers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and ensure actions are followed through.
