Job summary

The Beauty Tech Group is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to support across HR and office teams. You’ll be the trusted go-to for complex employee relations matters, guide managers, and mentor the HR Assistant to ensure smooth HR operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing a range of employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinaries, capability and absence.
• Confident providing HR advice to managers with sound judgement on sensitive or confidential matters.
• Nice to have CIPD qualification and experience in a small or standalone HR function working with external employment-law advisers; experience supporting health & safety, facilities, or employee training.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Lead on complex employee relations matters — grievances, disciplinaries, capability, performance and complex absence cases — ensuring they’re handled fairly and in line with policy and legislation.
• Oversee day-to-day HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding and absence management.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and support to the HR Assistant, allocating and prioritising work.
• Support delivery and coordination of internal training and development activities, and HR compliance.
• Provide general office and facilities support as needed.
