Job summary

Activate Group is seeking a People Advisor for the Southern England/London region. The role is hybrid with 2–3 site visits weekly across southern sites and some national travel, with remote work for the rest.

You will support managers on ER matters, lead recruitment campaigns, and provide policy guidance while upholding the company values. Key requirements include experience with high-volume ER caseloads, recruitment campaigns, strong communication, UK employment law knowledge, CIPD Level 5 (or

Qualifications

• Experience managing a high-volume employee relations caseload.
• Experience managing recruitment campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, coaching and upskilling people managers across Southern England/London to handle employee relations confidently.
• Managing employee relations cases through to completion, including absence management, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Advising on policies and processes remotely and face to face, feeding insight into reviews.
• Managing recruitment campaigns from advert through to onboarding including screening and assessments.
• Building relationships across Activate Group to provide consistent support across business areas.
• Supporting wider People Team with HR queries and escalation as needed.
• Advising on non-complex health and safety queries with escalation as required.
• Acting as an ambassador for the Group Values and embedding them in the team member journey.
