Job summary

UK Power Networks (Operations) Ltd. is seeking an HR Advisor to join the HR Operations team in London, Elephant and Castle. You will provide confident advice on complex people matters, manage cases to timescales, and maintain HR records.

The role includes engaging with managers, Trade Unions and stakeholders to ensure fair and policy-aligned outcomes. You will guide on employment law, policy, and terms and conditions; monitor sickness absence and performance; and support governance, reporting

Qualifications

• Experience advising managers on policy, employment law and terms and conditions.
• Proven ability to manage complex HR cases with fairness and consistency.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and structured case management on sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, discrimination, bullying and redundancy matters.
• Advise on employment law, HR policy, procedures, and maintain HR system records.
• Support governance, audits and change requests; monitor sickness and performance.
• Coach managers, deliver workshops, and participate in policy development and working groups.
