Our client is seeking a Principal HR Advisor for a temporary contract until December 2024.
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will work within the Schools’ HR traded service, providing professional HR support to school leaders across the Royal Borough of Greenwich and supporting Corporate HR Services. You will collaborate with a busy HR team to deliver comprehensive HR administrative support and assist with functions such as payroll.
You will advise Governing Bodies, Headteachers, Directors, and senior managers on a variety of HR matters. Building positive relationships quickly will be essential to effectively manage areas such as resourcing, performance management, dismissal appeals, and complex employee relations cases.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong change management experience supporting organisational restructures and TUPE transfers is essential.
* Detailed understanding of public sector organisations.
* HR experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Solutions-focused approach.
* Well-developed analytical and planning skills.
* Excellent HR practice knowledge.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Customer-focused with high achievement standards.
