Well Placed HR is supporting a well-established charity in Exmouth with the recruitment of a Senior HR Advisor. You will work closely with managers, offering practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, while helping to shape people practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR advisory or senior HR advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience handling a range of employee relations cases.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, incl. performance, absence, conduct.
• Support recruitment activity and assist managers in attracting and selecting staff.
• Coach managers on effective people management practices.
• Support workforce planning and organizational development activities.
• Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Use HR data and reporting to identify trends and support decisions.

Senior HR Advisor £37,000-£37,500 - Exmouth - Permanent, Full-Time

The Role

As Senior HR Advisor, you'll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. You'll support day-to-day HR activity, coach managers through people challenges, and contribute to wider initiatives that support the organisation's people strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing advice and guidance on a range of employee relations matters, including performance, absence and conduct issues
• Supporting recruitment activity and helping managers attract and appoint great people
• Coaching managers on effective people management practices
• Supporting workforce planning and organisational development activities
• Contributing to employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
• Supporting the consistent application of HR policies and procedures
• Using HR data and reporting to identify trends and support decision-making

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who is confident working with managers and enjoys providing practical, solutions-focused HR support.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Experience managing a range of employee relations cases
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be desirable
