Job summary

Well Placed HR is supporting a well-established charity in recruiting an experienced Senior HR Advisor. You will work with managers to provide practical HR advice across the full employee lifecycle and coach on people management challenges. A strong employee relations background and knowledge of UK employment law are essential.

You will contribute to workforce planning, engagement initiatives and policy consistency, with a proactive, collaborative approach and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience managing a range of employee relations cases.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be desirable.

The Role

As Senior HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll support day-to-day HR activity, coach managers through people challenges, and contribute to wider initiatives that support the organisation’s people strategy.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who is confident working with managers and enjoys providing practical, solutions-focused HR support.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Experience managing a range of employee relations cases
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
