North Yorkshire Councils is seeking a Level 3 Contract Supervisor to join the Housing Standards Team. You will lead procurement, mobilisation and management of external contracts across hundreds of council homes, ensuring safety, quality and value for money.

You will oversee adaptation works, planned maintenance and compliance contracts, working with contractors, residents and internal teams to improve energy efficiency and living standards. Travel across housing stock is expected.

Formación

• Significant experience in contract management, procurement and performance management.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience in leading, influencing and collaborating with contractors, consultants and residents.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with tenants, contractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure best value and safe, compliant work.
• Undertake day-to-day contract management and monitor contractor performance.
• Chair contract liaison meetings and ensure accurate records and actions.
• Manage delivery of minor and major adaptations and planned maintenance works.
• Monitor contract performance via KPIs and prepare management reports.
• Develop specifications, tender documents and participate in evaluations for new contracts.
