Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Housing Change & Improvement Lead for a hybrid role in South London. You will oversee large-scale housing service redesigns, coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure governance and delivery against milestones.

The position offers a 12-month initial contract at £650 per day, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working, and partnership with senior leadership and HR to deliver organisational transformation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex change, transformation or organisational redesign programmes.
• Strong programme and project management experience delivering complex change at pace.
• Experience within local government, ideally housing or similar public service.
• Experience developing business cases and cases for change with high-quality programme docs.
• Understanding of governance, risk, dependencies and delivery assurance.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to engage senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a large-scale housing service redesign and organisational change programme.
• Develop and maintain programme and project plans, ensuring delivery against milestones, timescales, quality and cost.
• Produce robust business cases, cases for change and supporting programme documentation.
• Map and manage dependencies across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Establish and manage governance, reporting and assurance processes.
• Track risks, decisions, actions and delivery issues through to resolution.
• Facilitate senior-level meetings, workshops and engagement sessions.
• Oversee implementation activity and provide assurance that the overall change programme remains on track.
