Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a Housing Redesign Project Manager to lead a 12-month placement within the Housing Directorate. The role focuses on delivering a portfolio of strategic projects, with matrix reporting to the Director of Housing Operations and the Housing Transformation Lead.

You will map dependencies, identify service improvements, plan and monitor delivery, and produce key project deliverables to meet objectives in a politically and operationally complex environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex change and organisational redesign programmes, ideally within local government and housing services.
• Strong programme management, stakeholder engagement and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Map and track dependencies and inter-dependencies across the portfolio and provide robust assurance around programme delivery.
• Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures, identify resource needs with colleagues and support the implementation of improvements.
• Lead, plan and monitor service improvement projects and manage the production of the required deliverables to achieve the project objectives.
