Job summary

Vico Homes is seeking a Senior Homesearch Officer to lead the day-to-day operations of the Homesearch team. You will oversee the delivery of voids, allocations, and new tenancy services to ensure an efficient, customer-focused service across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

You will manage empty home allocations, adverts, and external partnerships, while implementing policy changes and handling complex issues. A current UK driving licence and flexibility to work outside normal hours are required.

Qualifications

• Qualification at Level 4 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework or working towards.
• Evidence of setting and achieving performance targets.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Experience in partnership working with communities and stakeholders.
• Understanding tenancy and debt management legislation.
• Customer-focused approach to service users.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective management and allocation of empty homes.
• Manage adverts for homes.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including local authorities.
• Implement policy and procedural changes and handle complaints.
• Establish partnerships with external agencies.
• Ensure tenancy allocations adhere to policies and legislation.
• Assist in minimising void rent loss and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Promote health and safety, and a safe working environment.
