Job summary

Priory in Wakefield is seeking a Registered Manager for Gateholme, a residential home supporting 39 residents with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. You will oversee budgets, quality, and compliance while leading a team to deliver outstanding care.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma (or be working towards it) and proven management experience with 35+ beds and complex behaviours, with dementia experience considered.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards it.
• Experience managing 35+ beds with complex behaviours and learning disability.
• Experience with older people possible if evidence of complex dementia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
• Lead, support and develop the team to deliver person-centred care.
• Support assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
• Ensure a safe, positive environment and promote dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best outcomes.
