Job summary

Bradford Council Education Safeguarding Service seeks a Senior EHE Officer to lead on delivery of Local Authority statutory duties for EHE and to analyse safeguarding risks for children not in suitable education. The role requires coordinating with schools and agencies and implementing robust processes to challenge provision and ensure standards.

You will work with a team focused on vulnerable groups, including children with social workers, those at risk of exclusion, and Early Help or Youth

Qualifications

• Experience with Education Safeguarding duties and statutory requirements.
• Ability to analyse safeguarding risks for children not in suitable education.
• Experience coordinating with schools and partner agencies.
• Proven track record implementing safeguarding processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of Local Authority statutory duties for EHE.
• Analyse safeguarding risks for children not in receipt of suitable education.
• Implement processes providing challenge to schools and agencies.
• Respond to practice not meeting standards and policies set by DfE.
