NFU Mutual is seeking a High Net Worth Technical Underwriter to shape underwriting strategy and risk appetite across the HNW product range, with a focus on HNW Property. The role is hybrid, allowing up to 80% remote work and 20% office attendance at Stratford-upon-Avon, York, Bristol, Belfast or Glasgow.

• HNW underwriting experience and knowledge of risk acceptance criteria.

• Recommend and develop underwriting strategy for the HNW product range.
• Define risk appetite and terms for high‑value cases.
• Translate appetite into clear, workable guidance for Agents and Underwriters.
• Use data/MI to identify opportunities and support evidence‑based decisions.
• Provide expert judgement on risk rates and rating logic; final referral for high‑value cases.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Sales, Agency, Claims, Product, Propositions, Regions and Marketing.
