• HLTA qualification or strong equivalent experience is required.
• Level 3 TA qualification would be advantageous.
• Recent UK primary school experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing whole-class cover when required.
• Delivering planned lessons and learning activities.
• Leading 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Supporting teachers with classroom preparation.
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progress.
• Supporting behaviour and classroom routines.
• Helping pupils develop independence and confidence.
• Working across different year groups where required.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff.
