Job summary

Aspire People, a education recruitment specialist, are recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is confident taking on additional responsibility within the classroom and supporting teachers to deliver high-quality learning.

The role covers EYFS to KS2, leading small-group interventions, covering classes with pre-planned lessons, and helping pupils

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confident leading groups and supporting whole-class learning.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Leading small-group interventions and targeted learning activities.
