Job summary

Aspire People are currently seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA with UK-based classroom experience who is looking for a rewarding role with a positive impact on pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 4 HLTA or equivalent qualification, or have strong relevant experience.
• At least 6 months UK-based school experience.
• Ability to lead lessons and manage a classroom.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide whole-class, 1:1, and small-group support.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Cover classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required.
• Support interventions in Maths, English, phonics, and other areas.
• Help with assessment, pupil progress, and feedback.
• Assist with resources and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support wider school activities, trips, and events.
