Job summary

REESON Education is recruiting an experienced HLTA for a full-time role in Chertsey. You will lead learning activities, deliver targeted interventions and provide high-quality classroom support to pupils with SEN, working closely with teachers and support staff.

The role offers greater classroom responsibility, long-term stability and a chance to develop specialist SEN experience within a welcoming school environment.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong understanding of SEN and additional learning needs.
• Ability to lead groups and deliver learning activities.
• Excellent communication and behaviour support skills.
• Patient, adaptable and proactive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning activities and small group sessions.
• Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEN.
• Provide classroom cover when required.
• Support individual learning and development plans.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff.
• Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
