Job summary

REESON Education is seeking an experienced HLTA for a full-time position in Chertsey. The role involves leading learning activities, delivering targeted interventions, and providing high-quality classroom support to pupils with SEN.

We are looking for a confident, organised candidate with a passion for SEN education who can work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to create a positive learning environment and contribute to individual learning plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of SEN and additional learning needs.
• Confidence leading groups and delivering learning activities.
• Excellent communication and behaviour support skills.
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning activities and small group sessions.
• Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEN.
• Provide classroom cover when required.
• Support individual learning and development plans.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff.
• Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
