Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is recruiting an experienced HLTA for a full-time role in a primary school's SEN base in Longsight, Manchester. You will deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support, aiding learning, communication, behaviour and emotional development while working closely with teachers and the SENCO.

The ideal candidate will have HLTA experience, strong SEND background, resilience, patience and a passion for making a positive difference to children's education.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience with pupils who have SEND.
• Experience delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group support.
• Ability to support learning, behaviour and emotional development.

Responsibilities

• Work within the school's SEN base.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support learning, communication, behaviour and emotional development.
• Lead learning activities and interventions where appropriate.
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO and support staff.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills.
