Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Hire Desk Controller based in the Reading area. You will manage hire and sales enquiries, process orders and contracts, and coordinate equipment, deliveries and collections for a global construction and engineering group.

Ideal candidates will have experience in hire, sales or customer service within construction or engineering, with strong telephone skills and organisational abilities. Office-based role with progression to leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hire, sales or customer service.
• Construction or engineering exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage hire and sales enquiries.
• Process orders, quotes and hire contracts.
• Liaise with customers, sites and branches.
• Coordinate equipment, deliveries and collections.
• Support stocktakes and record keeping.
• Handle branch paperwork and purchase orders.
• Assist credit control and compliance.
• Build strong customer relationships.
• Support wider branch team.
