Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Hire Desk Controller in the Reading area. The role manages hire and sales enquiries, processes orders, coordinates deliveries and collections, and supports branch operations.

You will build strong customer relationships and contribute to the smooth running of a busy team within a global construction and engineering group. Office-based and commutable from Reading, Newbury and Thatcham.

Qualifications

• Experience within hire, sales or customer service.
• Construction or engineering background is preferred.
• Confident telephone and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good people skills.
• Based within a commutable distance of Reading.

• Managing hire and sales enquiries.

• Liaising with customers, sites and other branches.

• Supporting stocktakes and maintaining accurate records.
• Managing branch paperwork and purchase orders.

Are you a Hire Desk Controller looking to join a global business where you can develop your career and take on greater responsibility?

In this role, you will manage hire and sales enquiries, process orders, liaise with customers and other branches, and coordinate equipment, deliveries and collections.
With that, the ideal candidate will have experience within hire, sales or customer service, ideally within construction or engineering, with confident telephone skills and strong organisational ability?
