Amey in Aust, near Bristol, is seeking a Permanent Senior Planner to join the Specialist Bridges Inspection & Maintenance (SBIM) team. You will coordinate project programmes, track progress and guide delivery across highways and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and client alignment.

The role requires strong planning, project controls and stakeholder management, with experience in Primavera P6 and MS Project. We offer a competitive package, career progression and a generous pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Planner role within highways or civil infrastructure.
• Strong programme planning and project controls knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all relevant project programmes.
• Track progress, forecast delivery dates and expenditure.
• Lead planning meetings with the Client and key stakeholders.
• Prepare periodic reports, statistics and programme updates.
• Provide advice, guidance and planning expertise to teams.
• Identify critical path activities, risks and opportunities.
• Support resource planning and project controls activities.
• Ensure high standards of programming to meet contract requirements.
• Develop and improve working practices and seek innovative solutions.
• Support business improvement monitoring and reporting processes.
