SLR Consulting seeks a Senior Civil Engineer in London to lead designs and feasibility studies on infrastructure projects, with emphasis on S278/38 processes, budgeting and client liaison.

You will prepare detailed designs, manage schemes, costings, and bills of quantities, while mentoring junior staff within a collaborative Transport Engineering team. The role supports flexible hybrid working and professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for Streets.
• Ability to engage and negotiate with clients, stakeholders and third parties.
• Detailed understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with Section 278/38 processes in infrastructure projects.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports.
• Take responsibility for project management, budgeting, bills of quantities and costings.
• Ensure designs comply with specifications, programme, health and safety regulations and CDM.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and team members; support junior colleagues.
