SLR Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with proven consultancy experience in S278 within a general infrastructure background to join our Transport Engineering team. The role involves detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports for a variety of projects, with a chance to lead project management, budgeting and costings.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an engineer with consulting experience in design and management of S278/38 processes.
• Strong knowledge of road/urban infrastructure design standards and environmental considerations.
• Ability to negotiate with clients and stakeholders and manage health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports for diverse projects.
• Take responsibility for project management, budgeting, BOQ and costings.
• Ensure designs meet specifications and agreed programmes.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements.
• Assess environmental impacts of schemes and coordinate with the team.
• Manage client/stakeholder relationships and coordinate with colleagues.
• Support junior team members on projects.
