Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Transport Engineering team in London. You will lead the preparation of detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports on a range of infrastructure projects, with opportunities to manage budgets, costs, and client liaison.

The role requires consultancy experience with S278 in a general infrastructure background, robust knowledge of the DMRB/Manual for Streets, and proficiency in Civils 3D.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering S278/38 infrastructure schemes in a consultancy environment.
• Solid knowledge of DMRB and Manual for Streets.
• Proven ability to manage projects and client relationships while supervising junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance that scheme designs comply with specification and programme.
• Ensure designs meet health and safety regulations and CDM requirements.
• Assess environmental impacts of designs.
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders and third parties.
• Coordinate with design team members.
• Support junior team members on projects.
