Job summary

Pudsey Sixth Form College is seeking a High Needs Team Leader to oversee the placement and support of students with Education Health Care Plans at the Pudsey campus. You will be the main contact for parents and curriculum staff, influencing outcomes for disadvantaged learners and contributing to statutory processes.

You will lead a growing High Needs team, coordinate EHCP processes, and work with schools and health and social care to deliver high-quality support and continuous service

Qualifications

• Level 5 teaching qualification or SEND/Learning Support qualification, or willingness to work towards.
• English and Mathematics at Level 2 or above.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Government SEND legislation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the High Needs team to ensure high-quality support for children and young people with SEND.
• Oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and review of EHCPs.
• Collaborate with schools, families, health professionals and social care to achieve outcomes.
