Job summary

Cheshire College South & West seeks a dynamic leader for Learning Support and Inclusion to remove barriers to learning for learners with SEN, EHCPs and disabilities. You will manage a team of specialist staff and coordinate support across SEN, High Needs and Inclusive Learning Support, ensuring high-quality services and timely EHCP reviews.

The role requires strong leadership, safeguarding awareness and collaboration with Examinations and Governors to drive continuous improvement across campus

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable professional qualification.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Additional Learning Support practice and funding in FE college.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership at CLT level to drive quality improvement.
• Lead a team of specialist staff delivering SEN, High Needs and Inclusive Learning Support.
• Oversee annual EHCP reviews and Local Authority deadlines.
• Identify SEND/LLDD support needs and referrals into Learning Support.
• Conduct quality assurance activities within Learning Support (observations, learning walks).
• Collaborate with Examinations Manager on Exam Access Arrangements policies.
