Job summary

Pudsey Sixth Form College seeks a High Needs Team Leader to coordinate placement and support for students with EHCPs at Pudsey campus. You will be the operational point of contact with parents and curriculum staff, driving outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable students.

Qualifications

• Level 5 teaching qualification or SEND/learning support qualification or willingness to work towards
• English and Mathematics at Level 2 or above
• Up-to-date knowledge of Government SEND legislation and guidance
• Extensive experience with EHCPs and relevant support strategies
• Experience in multi-agency partnership working with families, schools, and professionals
• Experience in provision monitoring and quality assurance via data-informed reporting
• Knowledge of safeguarding, policy implementation and service improvement, including budget/resource management

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the High Needs team to provide high-quality support for students with SEND
• Oversee assessment, planning, implementation and review of EHCPs
• Collaborate with schools, families, health professionals and social care services
• Manage and resolve escalated issues
• Prepare reports and present recommendations to senior management
• Monitor provision delivery and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to strategic planning, policy development and service transformation
• Promote inclusive practices and advocate for High Needs needs
