Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking a proactive Learning Support and Inclusion leader to drive high-quality services for learners with SEND, high needs and additional support requirements. You will manage a team, oversee EHCPs and ensure compliance with JCQ/Code of Practice, reporting to College leadership.

You will work across campuses, develop robust processes, and collaborate with Examinations to ensure inclusive access and effective learning support delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable professional qualification (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent level 2).
• Knowledge of Additional Learning Support practice and funding in FE college.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, positive leadership at CLT level to drive quality improvement based on feedback from learners, parents, partners, employers, staff and inspectors.
• Lead a team of specialist staff delivering support for learners (SEN, High Needs, Inclusive Learning Support).
• Manage annual EHCP reviews to meet Local Authority deadlines.
• Identify SEND/LLDD support needs and refer into Learning Support.
• Conduct quality assurance activities in Learning Support (observations, learning walks).
• Collaborate with Examinations Manager on Exam Access arrangements policy and procedures.
• Contribute to self-assessment and improvement plans for Governors.
