Job summary

Ford & Slater Limited is seeking a Senior HGV Workshop Administrator for our Stockton dealership. You will create workshop schedules, plan inspections, process job cards and handle front-of-house duties on the service reception.

The role requires IT proficiency and strong organisation, with experience in HGV or related sectors preferred. The position offers an opportunity to develop through in-house and manufacturer training, with 22 days holiday rising to 25, plus pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an administrator in HGV/CV/PSV or main dealer environment preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge to converse with technicians and customers.
• Strong IT and organisational skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create workshop schedules in conjunction with the Workshop Controller.
• Plan vehicle inspection bookings for O licence compliance.
• Process job cards.
• General administration duties for the Workshop/Service department.
• Front of house on the Service Reception to meet and greet when required.
• Handle incoming calls/enquiries from new and existing customers.
• Maintain files in line with company and legal requirements.
