Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience assessing heavy vehicle statutory test applications.
• Ability to provide technical advisory support to non-technical teams.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assessment of heavy vehicle statutory test applications for first test and conversions.
• Assess applications of ECWVTA approved vehicles.
• Offer technical support to non-technical processing teams and act as advisory service to frontline staff, operators, manufacturers and others.
• Investigate possible solutions to mitigate risks and issues.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Policy Team on new requirements and standards.
• Communicate clearly with internal/external customers and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Support Heavy Vehicle Processing Manager and represent DVSA at trade events.
• Maintain relevant databases as required.
