Job summary

Aerlio Climate Ltd is a growing specialist in low-carbon heating solutions, focusing on heat pump technologies for residential and commercial use. The role involves system design, hydronic engineering, and ensuring UK compliance, with hybrid on-site support across the UK.

You will work on advanced HVAC technologies, including ASHP/GSHP projects, and provide technical training and support to installers and partners. A strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and practical solutions is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the UK HVAC, heating or plumbing industry.
• 2–3 years' hands-on experience in ASHP and/or GSHP, in technical support, system design, commissioning or installation.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Unvented Hot Water Cylinders (G3) qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK MCS requirements and heat pump installation standards.
• Experience with heat-loss calculation and system-design software such as OpenReno or Easy MCS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out room-by-room heat loss calculations for UK projects.
• Size radiators, underfloor heating and other heat emitters.
• Design and optimise low-temperature hydronic systems (pipe sizing, flow rates, balance).
• Prepare technical designs per MIS 3005 and UK Building Regulations (Part L).
• Support heat pump sizing and system optimisation for efficient operation.
• Provide technical support to installers, contractors and partners.
