Job summary

Aira is seeking a Heating System Design Engineer to design high-quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties. You will conduct surveys, gather data, and ensure projects meet customer expectations while complying with building regulations and industry standards.

You will attend customer properties, perform heat loss assessments, and prepare material lists for installation, while keeping up with evolving low-carbon heating guidance in a customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• Design high quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.
• Gather information from site surveys and quotes to generate heat loss calculations and emitter outputs.
• Keep up to date with regulations for heat pumps, low carbon heating and building standards.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer properties in your designated area.
• Conduct site surveys and collect data relevant to installation requirements.
• Carry out room-by-room heat loss assessments and determine radiator replacements.
• Answer technical queries from customers and explain price changes.
