Job summary

Aira is seeking a Heating System Design Engineer to design high-quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties. You will gather data from quotes and surveys to generate accurate heat loss calculations and verify emitters output requirements.

You will troubleshoot technical issues to ensure installations proceed smoothly while staying compliant with current regulations, including MCS guidelines.

Qualifications

Design high quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.
Gather data from quotes, site survey and property to generate heat loss calculations.
Identify and resolve technical issues to keep installations progressing.
Report issues affecting installation to line manager; stay updated with regulations and guidance.

Responsibilities

Attend customer properties in your designated area to survey and collect data.
Carry out room-by-room heat loss assessments and determine radiator replacements.
Communicate price changes and obtain customer approval for proposals.
Create a materials list to carry out installations.
