Company Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Group & Event Sales Executive to further strengthen our reactive sales team for The Hoxton London.

Set across a series of lively, interesting city neighborhoods, our London hotels are packed with individual design vibes, whether reviving existing buildings or creating exciting new spaces.

Job Description

What you'll do...

  • Support the Head of GME Sales and GME Sales Manager with project work and executing ad-hoc improvements across the four London hotels.
  • Handle higher value and VIP bookings, ensuring repeat clients are acknowledged and impressed with their booking experience.
  • Develop client relationships, understand guest needs, and identify opportunities to generate repeat business.
  • Understand our sales cycle and strategically yield to meet budget targets across the cluster.
  • Lead on the strategic qualification and distribution of enquiries, with a strong understanding of the events inbox process.
  • Monitor revenue performance and budget figures, directing business to less busy periods.
  • Build strong communication and relationships with other teams, promoting positive collaboration.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Think creatively, problem-solve, and challenge norms with fresh ideas.
  • Participate in M&E revenue meetings by presenting key updates.
  • Develop product knowledge to support business wins and keep the team updated on Hoxton offerings.
Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • Experience in reactive sales for groups or events within hotels, venues, or private members clubs.
  • Hotel and/or Groups experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with hotel CRM systems such as OPERA or Delphi is a plus.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a personable approach.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and pay attention to detail.
  • Seeking a challenge in a role that values individuality and authenticity.
  • Team player who is pragmatic and results-oriented.
