Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior ground investigation engineer to lead from the field on large GI projects across the UK. You will manage site teams, supervise multiple contractors, and drive health and safety, QA/QC, and program delivery while engaging with clients and stakeholders.

You will contribute to commercial reporting, manage early warnings and contract events, and develop strong relationships across disciplines to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Lead engineer on large scale ground investigation projects.
• Experience supervising engineers and multiple contractors.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Site management including supply chain co-ordination and procurement.
• Field based work across the UK with a focus on ground investigations.
• Leadership and co-ordination of site teams and programme management fed into project management.
• QA/QC of soil and rock logging to British Standards and in-situ testing.
• Commercial reporting to the project manager and input into compensation events.
• Stakeholder liaison and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Produce project outputs and ensure client and Arcadis requirements are met.
