You will manage field teams, supervise contractors, and coordinate programmes across multiple sites with emphasis on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Lead engineer on large-scale ground investigation projects.
• Experience supervising engineers and multiple contractors.
• Minimum 5 years field experience.
• Knowledge of NEC4 contract management, early warnings and CEs.
• SMSTS preferred.
• Strong health and safety and risk management; budget and technical considerations; construction phase plan documentation essential.
• Stakeholder management and strong communication skills.
• Desirable experience in Rail/Highway/Energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Site management including supply chain coordination and procurement.
• Field based work undertaken across the UK with a strong SHEQ focus.
• Site management of ground investigations and associated works with SHEQ management.
• Leadership and coordination of site teams, including programme management feeding into the project team.
• QA/QC of logging of soil and rock to British Standards and ensuring quality outputs.
• Commercial reporting to the project manager and input into compensation events in the field.
• Stakeholder liaison with clients and contractors.
• Work collaboratively with other sectors to ensure project integrity.
• Produce project outputs (documentation, reports) meeting Arcadis requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Project Manager and client to communicate progress.
